Slo Industries Limited

Our place, Slo Industries Limited, is located on P H Road in Aminjikara. It’s on the second floor of building 265/447, right across from Lakshmi Theatre. Finding parking can be a real headache sometimes because the road is always packed with traffic and people going to the movies. We’ve been operating from this floor for a while now. The office isn't overly large but it fits everyone we need for the day-to-day work. Most of the time it’s just the sound of phones and people talking about production schedules or checking on orders. Being opposite the cinema means there’s always something happening outside, especially in the evenings when crowds start gathering. We handle a lot of the back-end industrial work from here. It’s mostly paperwork, coordinating with different sites, and making sure the supplies are moving along as they should. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, so we usually take it slow. It’s an old building but it has its charm. We don’t really do fancy meetings or anything like that. People just come in, do their shift, and head home. The heat in Chennai gets pretty bad in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going all day long. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs when things get quiet. It’s a steady environment and we’ve gotten to know the regular faces on this stretch of P H Road quite well over the years. We just get on with it.
