Sgs India Private Limited

Our office is located in the Ticel Bio Park over on CSIR Road in Taramani. We take up space on the second and fourth floors, specifically units 409-410 and 201-216. Sgs India Private Limited is a big name in the world, but here in Chennai, we are just a team of regular people working in labs and doing inspections. The Bio Park is a very quiet and organized place compared to the noise of the rest of the city. We spend our time testing samples, checking certifications, and making sure products meet certain standards. It’s technical work, and we have a lot of specialized equipment in the rooms. The atmosphere is pretty focused and serious. You’ll see people in lab coats or carrying clipboards most of the time. We don't really have customers just walking in off the street because everything is usually scheduled in advance. The commute to Taramani can be a bit of a trek depending on where you live in the city, but the facility itself is quite modern and clean. We aren't here to sell you anything fancy; we just provide the data and the results from the tests we run. It’s a lot of staring at screens and measuring things precisely. We have our coffee breaks in the common areas and then get back to the reports. It’s a steady kind of job that requires a lot of attention to detail every single day.
