We set up this place at 34-36, Kumutham Nagar Annexe in Mugalivakkam. It’s a decent neighborhood. We handle various lifestyle items, mostly clothes and some accessories. The shop isn't too large, but we try to fit a good variety on the racks. Sometimes the piles get a bit messy when we are sorting new arrivals. It’s just a few of us working here. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and hanging things up. Mugalivakkam can be a bit quiet in the mornings, but it picks up in the evening when people are heading home. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just selling things that people might want to wear or use at home. My sister helps with the displays, though I think she moves things around too much. It gets a bit cramped when a few people come in at once, but we make do. We don't have those fancy bright lights like the big malls. It’s more like a regular house converted into a shop feel. We like talking to the people who live nearby. Most of them have been coming to us for a while now. We keep a notebook of what people are looking for so we can try to find it for them. It's a small business and we just take it one day at a time. No big plans, just keeping the doors open and the clothes sorted on the hangers as best as we can.
