Shree Maruthi Traders

We are located at 23 Wallahjah Road in Triplicane. It’s a very busy street with a lot of people walking by all the time. Our shop, Shree Maruthi Traders, is one of the many small businesses in this part of town. We trade in various goods, mostly things local people need for their daily work. The shop is quite small and it's packed from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to even stand. We spend our time talking to suppliers and local customers who drop in throughout the day. It’s not a quiet place because of all the traffic noise outside on Wallahjah Road. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been here for many years. We know where everything is kept, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. The old wooden counter has been worn down over time. We don't do much in the way of fancy displays. We just put the items out and people buy what they need. It’s a very old-school way of doing business. We have a small fan that wobbles a bit on the ceiling, but it keeps the air moving. Triplicane is a place with a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of that. We just open the doors every morning and see what the day brings for us. There are no big plans, just keeping the trade going one day at a time.
