Shree Gokul Aluminium & Glass

You can find us at 56, South Sivan Koil Street. Shree Gokul Aluminium & Glass has been in this location for a while now. It is a busy street, especially with the temple being so close by, so there are always people walking past the front door. We mostly work with glass panes and aluminium frames for windows and doors. It is delicate work sometimes, and we have broken a few pieces over the years, but that is just how you learn the trade. Our shop is quite small, and we have to be very careful with how we stack the glass so nothing tips over. We have a few guys who handle all the cutting and the fitting. It is dusty work, and there are always little bits of metal shavings on the floor. We try to sweep up every evening, but it never stays clean for very long. People from the neighborhood usually just drop by when they need a window fixed or a frame made for their house. We do not have a fancy showroom or anything like that to show off. We just have some samples leaning against the wall for people to look at. Sometimes we are out on a job site for a few hours, so the shop might be locked up during the day. We just do our best to get things done when we say we will. It is a simple life, working with our hands and seeing the finished product.
