Saint Gobain Glass India Ltd.

Our office is over at 15 Erusappa Street in the Ice House area. It is an old part of the city and the streets can be quite narrow and crowded sometimes. You wouldn't think a glass company would be tucked away here, but this is where we handle a lot of the local work. At Saint Gobain Glass India Ltd., the phones start ringing pretty early and they don't really stop until we close. There is always someone asking about glass sizes or when a delivery might arrive. The building we are in has seen better days but it works for us. We have stacks of papers and samples everywhere. Sometimes it feels like we are surrounded by glass, which makes sense given what we do. The neighborhood around Ice House is lively. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long, from the tea stalls to the bikes zooming past. We have a small team here and everyone knows their job. We don't spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the glass gets to where it needs to go without breaking. It is a lot of coordination and sometimes it gets stressful when the traffic is bad, but we manage. People stop by 15 Erusappa Street for all sorts of reasons. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It is a solid place to work and we like being part of this community.
