Innovative Goblet Conception

We are located at No. 11 Kamaraj Nagar, right in the Teachers Colony area of Kolathur. The name Innovative Goblet Conception sounds a bit different, but at the end of the day, we are just glass workers. We focus a lot on the smaller things, like goblets and glassware. It’s more detailed work than just cutting big sheets for windows. Our shop is small but we keep it organized because you can't have glass lying around everywhere in a place like this. We started out small in Kolathur and just kept at it. The neighborhood is mostly families and teachers, as the name suggests. It’s a nice place to work. We spend our afternoons at the benches, working on the shapes. Sometimes the glass doesn't cool right and we have to start over. It’s a patient kind of job. We don't have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we make, they just come into the workshop and look at the shelves. We have a couple of old fans that struggle to keep the place cool in the summer, but we manage. People around Kamaraj Nagar know us as the people who do the glass ornaments and drinking vessels. We just keep our heads down and try to make things that people will actually use in their homes. It is a quiet business and we like the community here.
