Shree Fashion

We are over at No. 7-D in the Calve Chateau building. It is located at No. 808 Poonamallee High Road in Kilpauk. If you know Chennai, you know how busy this road gets. The traffic is almost constant from morning until late at night. Being in Kilpauk is good for us, though, because everything we need is nearby. Shree Fashion is a bit of a tight space inside. We have to be very careful about how we stack the materials so we still have room to move around the tables. The building itself has its own character. Sometimes the elevator is a bit slow or stops working, so we just take the stairs. Our windows look out onto the main road, but we usually keep the curtains drawn to keep the heat out during the day. It is a lot of work to keep things running smoothly. We have a couple of machines and a big cutting table that takes up most of the main room. It is not a fancy corporate office; it is a place where people are working with their hands. We do not have a lot of visitors, mostly just deliveries coming and going with rolls of cloth. The hum of the city is always there in the background. We just stay focused on the garments and the deadlines. It is a simple life at 808 Poonamallee High Road. We just do our bit and go home.
