Cascara Garments

Our place is situated on the first floor of number 703 along Poonamallee High Road in Aminjikarai. This is one of the main veins of the city, so the traffic outside is constant and very loud. You can hear the buses and the horns from morning until evening. The building is an older one, and the entrance is tucked away slightly, so people sometimes walk past it if they aren't looking for the number. Up on the first floor, we have a decent amount of space for our garment business, though it quickly fills up with boxes once we get a new delivery. The light in the office is a bit dim in the corners, so we have extra lamps scattered around the desks. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the clothes and making sure everything is packed correctly for the customers. It is a very hands-on job, and we usually end the day with sore backs from all the lifting and reaching. We aren't some big brand with a huge marketing budget; we are just a small team working in a busy part of Chennai. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we go when we need a break from the noise of the traffic. It is a simple life and a simple business, focusing on getting things done properly without any unnecessary flashiness.
