Nabisha Leathers

The shop is on the first floor right across from Canara Bank on Sheik Ali Subedar Street. It is a busy spot. You have to walk up the stairs to get to us. We have been here a while now. The smell of leather is the first thing people notice when they walk in. It is just part of the air here. We have all sorts of stuff laid out on the counters and hanging from the walls. Some days it is quiet and we just spend time organizing the stock or checking on the stitching. Other days it gets really crowded with people coming in from the bank across the way. We try to keep things simple. There is not much fancy about the place. It is mostly just us working and making sure everything is where it should be. The windows look out over the street so we see everything going on down there. It gets a bit noisy during the day with all the traffic but you get used to it. We do not spend much on decorations because the leather speaks for itself anyway. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they were visiting the bank and saw our sign. It is a small space but we make it work. We have got rolls of material in the back and the tools we use every day are always sitting out on the workbench. It is a practical setup. Nothing more, nothing less.
