Shans Designer Studio Private Limited

Our studio, Shans Designer Studio, is right on 5th Main Road in CIT Nagar. We are at No. 12/57, over in the East Nandanam part of the city. It’s a good spot because it’s central, but the street itself isn't too crazy. We call it a studio because we do a bit more than just mass production. We spend time looking at how things fit and trying out different styles. It’s a private limited company, but it feels more like a family workshop. There are only a handful of us here on any given day. We usually have a radio playing in the background while we work. We don't have a big sign out front or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and you'll see us at our tables with measuring tapes around our necks. Nandanam is a place where people expect good work, so we try not to let anyone down. We get a lot of local folks stopping by to ask if we can do this or that. Sometimes we are too busy to take on new things, but we try to help when we can. The work is mostly manual, using our hands and the old machines we’ve had for years. They work better than the new ones sometimes. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything. We just like making clothes and being our own bosses here in CIT Nagar.
