Shabeena Leathers

You can find us over at 25 Sigamani Street in the Shivashankar Nagar area of Chrompet. The place has a very specific smell of leather that hits you as soon as you walk in. We’ve got rolls of material and scraps all over the place because we’re always working on something. It’s a busy little spot in Nagel Kenni. We aren't a big factory; it's more of a hands-on workshop where things get made day by day. The street outside is usually quiet, but inside we’ve got machines running and people busy with their tools. We spend a lot of time checking the hides and making sure they’re okay to use. It’s dusty work sometimes, and our hands are usually stained by the end of the shift. We’ve been in Chrompet for a long time, and we like the community here. The workshop isn't very modern, but it has everything we need to get the job done right. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll just see us working. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows their job and just gets on with it. We just like doing the work without making a big fuss about it. That’s just how we operate at Shabeena Leathers and we hope to stay on Sigamani Street for many more years to come doing exactly this.
