Serviceing Engineer

If you go down Vellala Street in Kodambakkam, you will find me at number 101. I have been working as a Serviceing Engineer in Chennai for quite a while now. This part of the city is always moving, and there is always something that needs a look or a repair. Kodambakkam has its own rhythm, with the narrow streets and the old buildings mixed with new shops. My workplace is not anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular door on a regular street, but inside it is full of parts and tools. The heat in Chennai can be a bit much sometimes, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the job. Most days are spent taking things apart and putting them back together again to make sure they run right. I don't really have a big team or a flashy reception area. It is just me and the work. People from around the neighborhood know where to find me when their machines act up. I prefer it this way because I can talk to everyone directly without any middleman. Vellala Street is a good place to be because everything is close by. Sometimes the traffic makes deliveries slow, but that is just how Chennai is. I just focus on the engineering side of things and try to keep my hands busy. It is practical work for practical people.
