Shah Industries

Shah Industries is located over in Chintadripet at number 43 on Raj Gopal Street. Some people call it Thintadrutet around here, but it is the same neighborhood. It is an old part of the city with narrow streets and lots of history. Our building has been here for a long time. It is a bit worn down on the outside, but it is sturdy and does the job for what we do. I spend most of my time in the workshop area. It is usually pretty loud with the machines running throughout the day. We make various parts and industrial things here. It is not the cleanest place in the world, but that is because we are actually working with our hands. I have a small desk in the corner where I handle the bills and orders. Chintadripet is a tight-knit community. I know the guys at the tea stall down the street and the other shopkeepers nearby. We help each other out when we can. Sometimes the deliveries are hard to get in because the street is so narrow. We have to time it just right so we don't block the way. I have been running things here for years. It is just what I do. I don't see myself doing anything else. It is a lot of grease and metal and hard work. My hands are usually dirty by the end of the shift. That is how you know you have done something.
