Service Engineering

Out in Gudiyattam, specifically in the Nellorepet area, I run a small setup for service engineering. My address is 24, Second Sivagami Amman St. It’s a small town vibe here in the Vellore district, and word travels fast. I handle a bit of everything when it comes to engineering repairs. Whether it’s fixing a piece of farm equipment or some local machinery, I’m the one people come to. My workshop isn't anything special to look at. It’s got a concrete floor, some heavy workbenches, and a lot of metal scraps in the corner. I’ve been working on this street for years, and I know most of the families around here. I don't use a computer for much other than keeping track of who owes me what. Most of my knowledge is in my head and my hands. I like the challenge of a machine that won't start. I'll sit there with a cup of tea and just look at it for a while until I figure out the problem. It’s a slow pace of life compared to the big cities, but there’s always something that needs fixing. I don't put up big advertisements or anything. If I do a good job, people tell their cousins, and that’s how I stay busy. It’s just simple engineering work for the local community, and I plan to keep it that way for a long time.
