Selliamman Engineering

Selliamman Engineering is located at number 46 in Kodungaiyur. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while. It’s a gritty part of town but it suits what we do. We aren't a corporate office with air conditioning and suits. We wear work clothes that get dirty by ten in the morning. Our shop handles a lot of different engineering tasks. People bring us drawings or sometimes just an idea of what they need. We try to make it work. The machines we use are loud and they take up a lot of space. We don’t have much room for a fancy waiting area. Most people just stand around the workshop and talk to us while we work. Kodungaiyur is full of small businesses like ours. We all know each other. We don't have a grand vision. We just want to get the orders finished on time. Sometimes we run late because a machine breaks down or we run out of material. We just tell people the truth about it. We don’t use polished sales talk. It’s just us and our tools. We handle metal, we weld, we grind, and we assemble. It’s honest labor. We’ve had some of the same customers for years.
