Schuh Dezign

We've been at No. 5 Mv Badran Street for a while now. It’s a busy spot in Periamet, and if you walk by Schuh Dezign, you’ll probably hear the sounds of us working inside. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a place where we get things done. Some days are slower than others, but we usually have something on the bench that needs finishing. We deal with shoes, mostly the design part and getting all the different pieces to fit together right. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going all day. Most of the people around here know us by now. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty for the internet. Usually, we are just busy with the actual work on the floor. It’s dusty sometimes because of all the materials and the cutting, but that is just part of the job. If you come by, you might see us sorting through scraps or talking about a new pattern. We have our tools scattered around, and every person here has their own way of doing things. It’s not a big factory. It’s small, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon when the deliveries are done. It’s just how we run things here. No big speeches or fancy plans, just showing up and working on the designs until they look right. We don't bother with corporate talk because it doesn't help us make shoes.
