Sarjal Exports

Sarjal Exports is situated on the first floor of number 37 Harris Road in Pudupet. Now, Pudupet is mostly known for the old car parts and scrap markets, so we are in a bit of a gritty area. The building is quite old and you have to walk up a flight of stairs that are a bit dark. Once you get to the first floor, our space is simple. It’s mostly just a large room where we handle the export side of things. Chennai heat is no joke, so the fans are always running at full speed, but it still gets pretty warm in the afternoons. We have some large windows that look out over the street, and it’s always interesting to watch the chaos of the market below. There are always piles of goods being sorted and packed into big cardboard boxes for shipping. We don't have any fancy signs or a big storefront because most of our work is done through calls and emails. The desks are cluttered with paperwork and there’s usually a stack of shipping forms waiting to be signed. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is. We’ve been on Harris Road for a while and we’re used to the noise and the grit of the neighborhood. It’s a practical place to work and it suits the kind of business we do. We just focus on getting our tasks done and making sure everything is shipped.
