We have been up here on the fifth floor of Fountain Plaza for quite a while now. Pantheon Road is always noisy, but once you get up to the fifth floor, things quiet down a little bit. We usually start the day early, around nine, and sometimes the elevator is acting up, so we take the stairs which is a lot of climbing. Our office is mostly just desks piled with folders and a few computers that have seen better days. It isn’t anything fancy. Most of the time, we are just busy keeping track of everything moving through the doors. We get a lot of sunlight through the windows in the afternoon, which makes it pretty hot, but we manage. There is a small tea stall just outside the main gate where we usually go when we need a break from the paperwork. It is a bit cramped in here when everyone shows up at the same time, especially during the busy months when we have more to do than usual. We don’t really change much around here. The chairs are old and the paint is peeling in the corners, but it works for what we need to do. It feels like a second home for most of us because we spend so much time here. Every day is pretty much the same routine of checking schedules and making sure things are where they should be.
