Safety Engineer

Down in Chennai, specifically in Ambattur, is where you will find us at Safety Engineer. We are located at 13/A9 on 17th Cross Street in Banu Nagar. If you’ve ever been to Pudur, you know it’s a lived-in kind of neighborhood with lots of houses and small shops. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. The office is tucked away on a side street, which is nice because it’s a bit quieter than the main roads. We spend our days looking over safety protocols and making sure everything is up to code for different projects. It’s a lot of technical work, but we try to keep things simple when we talk to people. There’s no big corporate vibe here. Most days, it’s just us drinking coffee and going through files. The 17th Cross Street is a familiar place to us, and we like being part of the Ambattur community. Sometimes the heat in Chennai gets to be a bit much, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We don’t really do advertisements or big promotions. Most of our work comes from people who just know we are here in Pudur. It’s a straightforward business and we don't feel the need to make it sound more complicated than it is. We just do the safety engineering work and try to stay organized. It is a good way to make a living and we appreciate the neighbors.
