We’ve been here in Kaladipet for a while now. The shop is tucked away on Chinnamettu Palayam 2nd Street, just a short walk from Radhakrishna Avenue. It’s a busy spot but we manage. Most days it’s just us working on whatever comes through the door. People around Thiruvottiyur know where to find us when they need engineering things sorted out. It isn't a fancy place with a big reception or anything like that. Just a workshop with the tools we need to get through the daily list. We handle the metal work and repairs as they come. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with deliveries, but that’s just how it is around here. It started small and we just kept going. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the machines well. The noise of the grinders and the smell of grease is pretty much what our day looks like from morning till we close up. There’s always something to fix or a part to make. It’s steady work and it keeps us occupied. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork, honestly. We’d rather be out back getting the actual jobs finished so people can get their equipment back. That’s how we’ve always done it.
