You can find Esun Impex over at 308 / 160 Lloyds Road in Royapettah. It’s an old part of the city, and Lloyds Road always has something going on, from the heavy traffic to the people walking to the nearby shops. Our office is tucked away in one of the buildings there, and it’s where we handle all our import and export tasks. It’s not a big, shiny office with glass walls; it’s more of a practical space with wooden desks and shelves full of folders. We spend a lot of time on the phone with customs agents or checking on the boats arriving at the harbor. Royapettah is a convenient place to be because everything is relatively close by, but the parking can be a real headache some days. Inside the office, we try to keep things as organized as we can, though it gets a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big project. We don't really have any mission statements or anything like that. We just come here to work and make sure our clients get what they need. The building has high ceilings which helps a bit with the heat, but we still rely on the ceiling fans most of the time. It’s a steady kind of life, working through the lists and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the day. We’ve been here long enough that the tea seller knows exactly how we like our drinks.
