Roshni Leather Exports is situated at 94 Barnakar Ii Street in the Flower Garden area of Ambur, which is in the Vellore District. Ambur is a town that knows its leather, and we are right in the thick of it. The street we are on is usually pretty busy with people and vehicles transporting hides and finished goods. When you walk into our place, the first thing you notice is the heavy smell of tanned leather. It’s a scent we have lived with for so long that we don't even notice it anymore. Our workspace is full of cutting tables and big rolls of leather in various colors. We do a lot of checking and re-checking here because we send our things abroad and everything has to be just right. The walls are lined with boxes ready to be shipped out. We have a small office area tucked in the back where we handle all the export documents and shipping labels. It’s often quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the ceiling fans going at full speed. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees; we are just a dedicated group of people who know how to handle leather. We take our work seriously but we keep the atmosphere relaxed. It’s just how we do things here in Ambur.
