Rose Imports & Exports

We are situated at No. 1426 Mogappair Road in the Annan Nagar West Extension area. Rose Imports & Exports occupies a small space here that is usually crammed with boxes and samples from all over. The traffic on Mogappair Road is something else, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home. We’ve got a lot of files stacked up on the wooden cabinets because we handle both importing and exporting, so there is double the paperwork most of the time. The light in the office isn't the best, but we have enough lamps to see what we are doing. We mostly focus on getting the cargo cleared and making sure the transport trucks know exactly where to go. It’s a lot of coordination. Sometimes I feel like I spend half my life waiting for a call back from the port. Annan Nagar West Extension is a good area, though it has changed a lot since we first started. We have a small kettle in the corner for making coffee when the afternoons get long. We don’t really have a big sign outside, just a small one near the gate. People usually find us because they’ve been told where we are. It’s a quiet enough operation inside, even if it’s loud outside. We just try to stay organized and get the daily tasks finished before the sun goes down.
