Chennai is a big, busy city, but our little corner feels a bit more like a community. We have students coming from all over the local area to attend classes. It is a college, so things can get pretty lively when the sessions are in full swing. The building is tucked into a residential part of the neighborhood, so we try to be mindful of the people living around us. It's not a massive campus with huge fields, but we have what we need for the students. We spend a lot of time on administrative work and making sure the schedules are right. The heat in Tamil Nadu can be a lot, so we have fans going in the rooms all day. Sometimes the street gets a bit blocked with scooters during drop-off times. We just handle things as they come. The staff here are mostly people who have lived in Chennai their whole lives. We keep the place running every day from morning till evening. It’s just a regular college where people come to get their degrees and move on to the next thing in their lives. We don't make a big fuss about things, just keep it moving. There is always a lot of paperwork to do, but we get through it eventually. It’s just how things work here.
