Rishabh Apparels is up on the second floor of 16 North Wall Road. We are situated just off Basin Bridge Road, right near the Mint Terminus. It is a very loud area because of the trains and all the traffic heading toward the terminal. You have to walk up some narrow stairs to get to us, but once you are inside, it opens up into a decent workspace. We have large windows that look out over the street, though they stay closed mostly to keep the dust out. The floor is always covered in small threads and bits of cloth that fall during the day. We sweep it up every evening before we lock up. It’s just a few of us here handling the daily operations. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and checking the inventory on the racks. The building itself is old, so the walls have a few cracks and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it works for what we need. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. Usually, people just walk right into the middle of the work area. We keep a small kettle in the corner for making coffee. It is a simple setup. We focus on getting the clothes ready for the market and making sure the counts are right. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we just open the back door to get a breeze.
