G. R. Impex

We are located over at No. -2/3 on Kasivishwanathan Street in V. O. C. Nagar. Redhills is a busy area and the traffic can get a bit much during the mornings when we are trying to open up. Most of the day here at G. R. Impex is spent dealing with a lot of paperwork and checking on shipments that come and go. It is not a fancy setup by any means. We have some desks, a couple of old fans that hum a bit too loud, and stacks of files that seem to grow every week. People walk past the office all day on their way to other shops on Kasivishwanathan Street. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour and we just sit outside or chat with the neighbors until it comes back on. It is a straightforward kind of life here. We handle the import and export side of things, mostly making sure the numbers match up and the trucks are on time. The dust from the road gets inside if we leave the door open too long, so we spend a fair amount of time just cleaning off the tables. My nephew helps out with the computer stuff because the software can be tricky sometimes. We have been in this part of Redhills for a while now and most people around here know where to find us. It is just a regular local business trying to keep things moving along without any big drama.
