You can find us at 9/5 Somu Chetti Thottam 2nd Lane, which is right in the heart of Old Washermenpet in Chennai. It’s an old part of the city, very crowded and full of life. Real Xyz Fashion Retail Private Limited is our small venture here. We deal with retail clothing, which means we’re always looking at new styles and trying to figure out what people want to wear. Our shop isn't a giant mall. It’s a modest space tucked away in the lanes of 600013. We spend a lot of our time talking to people who walk in and helping them find something that fits. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we have our fans going and we keep at it. We don't have a big corporate office or a "vision" statement. We just want to sell clothes that look good and don't cost a fortune. Sometimes the stock takes up more room than we have, so things get a bit cramped. We don't mind. It feels like a real business that way. The staff is mostly local people from around Washermenpet. We know the area well and we like being part of the community here. It’s a lot of manual work, unpacking bundles and hanging things up. We don't use fancy words because we don't need them. The clothes speak for themselves, and we just do our best to keep the shop running for our neighbors.
