Ramco Readymix Concrete

Our spot is at No.10/11 on the Mambakkam-Medavakkam Road in Vengaivasal. It’s right near the Kalimark Estate, which most people around here use as a landmark. Ramco Readymix Concrete is a busy yard. There’s always water on the ground and the sound of big drums rotating. Chennai heat is no joke, especially when you’re standing on concrete all day. The road outside is constantly packed with bikes and cars trying to get toward the city. We have a small cabin where we handle the orders and talk to the drivers. It’s not a very pretty place to look at, just a lot of sand, gravel, and heavy machinery. We don't have a marketing team sitting here; it's just the guys who know how to mix the batches and the ones who drive the trucks. The dust gets everywhere, even inside our lunch bags if we aren't careful. We've seen this area change a lot over the years, with more houses popping up everywhere, but we just stay in our corner and keep the mixers going. It's a lot of physical work and keeping an eye on the clock. Sometimes the rains in November make things difficult, but we usually find a way to keep things moving. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation where we try to stay out of the way of the main traffic and get our loads sent out on time for whoever needs them.
