Raj Imports & Exports Chennai is located right at the start of Seshachalam Street in Saidapet. We are at No. 1. It is a handy location because it is easy to find once you get into the neighborhood. We handle both imports and exports, which means there is never a dull moment. One day we are dealing with customs for incoming stuff, and the next we are shipping things out. It is a lot of paperwork. I usually have a few piles of it on my desk at any given time. The office is a bit cramped, especially when we have new stock coming in. We do not really mind. Saidapet has a lot of energy and we like being part of it. We have a small crew. Everyone knows what they have to do. We do not have long meetings. We just talk over the desks. Sometimes we lose a pen or a stapler in the mess, but we find it eventually. It is just how a small office runs. We try to be helpful when people call with questions. Shipping can be confusing if you have not done it before. We have been doing this for long enough that the steps are mostly second nature now. It is just us, working away in Saidapet. We take it one shipment at a time and try to stay organized.
