You can find Rain Tree at No. 12. It’s a simple address, just a number on a door, really. We don't have a long street name to give out. The building is older, and it has some character to it, even if the paint is peeling a bit in the corners. Inside, it's pretty much what you’d expect from a place that’s been around for a while. We have our things set up the way we like them. Rain Tree isn't a big operation. It’s just us here, handling the daily chores and whatever tasks come up. Sometimes the phone rings and sometimes it’s quiet for hours. We like the quiet times because we can actually get things done. The space at No. 12 isn't huge, but it's enough for what we need. We don't go in for any of that modern office furniture. Most of our stuff is second-hand or just stuff we’ve had for years. It feels more like a home than a business sometimes. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the weather or what’s happening in the news. There isn't a lobby or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us working. It’s a very basic way of doing things, but it’s worked for us so far. We just stay at No. 12 and do our thing.
