Rag Exports

You can find Rag Exports at No. 24/b on Drowpathi Amman Koil Street. Velachery has changed a lot since we first set up here. It used to be much quieter, but now there’s a lot more traffic and noise all day long. Our building is right near the temple, so we hear the bells and see the crowds sometimes during festivals. It’s a good landmark to have when giving directions. The workspace inside isn't anything special to look at. We have our equipment and some old desks. Most days are spent sorting through orders and getting things ready for export. It’s a lot of manual work and packing. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to answer phones all day. It’s just us doing the job day in and day out. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in. We have to stack things up high just to make room to walk through the hall. The staff here has been together for a while, so we know how to stay out of each other's way. It’s a local business through and through. We don’t really do anything flashy to get attention. We just focus on the task at hand. If you’re looking for us, look for the street name, it’s easier than trying to find a specific number sometimes. We’re just a regular part of the neighborhood and we like it that way.
