R. k. impex

R. k. impex is up on the 4th floor of the Shree Center at 130 Mint Street. Since we are on the 4th floor, we get some exercise every day because the elevator does not always work like it should. Mint Street is a very busy place, always full of shops and people, but our office is high enough up that it feels a bit removed from the noise downstairs. We have a view of the other buildings from our window. The office is not very big, so we have to be organized about where we put things. We handle impex work, so there are always piles of papers and samples on our desks. We have been here at the Shree Center for several years now. The lighting in the office is a bit dim when the sun goes down, so we have a few extra lamps to help us see. We do not have a receptionist. When someone rings the bell, one of us just gets up to see who it is. We spend most of our hours on the computer or checking through long lists of shipping data. It is the kind of work where you have to pay attention to the small details. We usually eat our lunch together at the big table and talk about our day. It is a small, simple group at R. k. impex. We just try to get everything finished so we can go home on time.
