Global Traders

Global Traders has been operating out of #9/56 Vellala Street for a good while now. Purasawalkam is a busy area, as most people know, so there is always something going on outside our door. Our building is a typical setup for this part of town. Inside, it's mostly just us working through orders and talking to clients on the phone. We trade all sorts of things. It depends on what people are looking for and what we can source at a fair price. We don't have a mission statement or anything fancy like that. We just show up every morning and get to work. The street can be quite narrow, so getting larger deliveries in and out takes some planning. Sometimes we have to wait until the evening when it’s a bit quieter. We aren't a huge corporation with departments for everything. Usually, whoever picks up the phone is the one who handles the order from start to finish. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us. We know most of the other shop owners on Vellala Street. It’s a community feel even though we are doing trade on a larger scale. We don't put much stock in being polished or professional-looking. We just care about the items we handle and making sure the trade goes through. It's a simple life at the office. We just try to get the work done right.
