Jnf Apparels

Jnf Apparels is based in Purasawakkam. It is a lively part of the city and there is always something going on in the streets. We make clothes in our small workspace here. It’s not a big factory or anything like that. We have a few machines and some tables where we cut the cloth. Purasawakkam is a place where people are always walking around, so we see a lot of life from our windows. Jnf Apparels has been operating for a good few years now. We have a small group of people working here and we all know each other well. Sometimes we bring in food to share at lunch. The office part of the building is pretty small and usually has rolls of fabric leaning against the walls. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just come in, do our work, and try to make sure everything looks right before it goes out. The light in the afternoons can be quite bright so we have to pull the shades down. It gets a bit dusty with all the threads and lint but we sweep up every evening. We don’t spend money on advertising or fancy signs. Most people find us because they know someone who works here or they live in Purasawakkam and saw us. It’s a very basic way to run a business but it works for us. We just keep going one day at a time.
