This is Presidency College, located right on Kamarajar Salai in the Triplicane area. The building has been here for a very long time and has a lot of history behind it. You can see the sea from across the road, which makes it a nice place to be every day. We have many students coming in from all over to attend classes here. The halls are old and have that specific smell of old books and stone. It is a busy place with a lot of movement between the different departments. We have classrooms that have seen many generations of students pass through them. The staff here just goes about their daily business, teaching and managing the administrative side of things. It is a big campus, so there is always something happening, whether it is a lecture or just students hanging out in the common areas. We don't have any fancy modern gadgets in every corner, but the basic facilities are there for everyone to use. It feels like a very traditional academic environment. Triplicane is a crowded part of the city, so getting here can be a bit of a struggle in the morning traffic, but once you are inside the gates, it feels different. We focus on the subjects we teach and try to keep the place running smoothly for the students who come here to learn. The walls have some cracks and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it shows how much use the place gets. It’s just a historic institution doing its job every day.
