Our office is at 57, though many people still know it by the old number 29. It’s a bit of a confusion for delivery drivers sometimes, but we’ve been here long enough that most people figure it out. Indian Commerce & Industries Co Pvt. Ltd. sounds like a very big name, but we are just a group of people working out of a standard office space. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. There are mostly just stacks of paper and some old wooden desks. We’ve been involved in commerce for quite some time now, handling the various bits and pieces that come with being a private limited company. The work involves a lot of routine stuff like filing taxes, checking industrial orders, and talking to vendors. It isn't particularly exciting, but it’s steady. We don't go in for big mission statements or anything like that. We just show up in the morning, do the work that’s on the desk, and go home when it’s finished. The building itself is older, and you can feel the history in the hallways. Sometimes it’s a bit drafty, and the stairs are a bit steep. We like being in a place with a bit of character though. Most of our clients have been with us for years, so we don't feel the need to act all corporate. We just treat people normally and get the business done.
