Powermech Engineering

Powermech Engineering is found at New No. 21, which most of the locals still remember as Old No. 9, on Rajagopalan Street in West Mambalam. We are up on the first floor, just off Jubilee Road. West Mambalam is one of those places with narrow streets and a lot of character, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. Our office and workshop area isn't anything fancy. It’s a bit of an older building, and the stairs are a little steep, but it suits us just fine. Inside, there are shelves lined with mechanical parts and old folders. We spend our days dealing with power and mechanical systems, often getting our hands dirty in the process. Since we’re on the first floor, we can see the street life below, which is always busy with shoppers and scooters. It’s a tight-knit community, and we know many of our neighbors by name. We don't have a big corporate mission or anything like that; we just focus on getting the jobs finished correctly so our customers are satisfied. Sometimes the fans don't quite cut through the Chennai heat, but we just keep working anyway. We’ve kept the old address on our door because that’s how people have known us for years. It’s a simple, honest place where we value practical skills over fancy talk. We do our work, chat with the locals, and keep the machines running as best as we can.
