We are located at No. 61 Kamatchi Nagar, right in the Madhanandhapuram area. If you know where Balaji Sweets & Bakery is on the Porur-kundrathur Road, we are just opposite to that. Manidharma Biotech Pvt. Ltd. isn't some massive laboratory you might see on TV. It’s more of a practical place where we work on biotech things for everyday problems. The road outside is always busy with buses and bikes going towards Kundrathur. Sometimes the smell of the bakery across the street makes us all hungry around four in the afternoon. We have a small team here, and we mostly focus on our research and the orders we have to fill. The office has a lot of glass jars and some equipment that looks complicated but we’ve used it for years. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have a lot of supplies delivered. We don't have a big corporate lobby. You just walk in and you're pretty much where the work happens. We spend our days checking on cultures or writing down results in our books. It's quiet work inside despite the noise from the main road. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the locals know us. It’s just a group of people trying to do something useful with science. We usually pack up around six and head home.
