Pmr Interlinings Private Limited is tucked away in Kilpauk. You can find us at Prem Vilas, on the 1st floor of No. 133 and 135 in Secretariat Colony, III Street. It’s a nice enough area to work in. We’ve been here for years, dealing with interlinings, which is that stuff inside clothes that most people don't even notice. It’s important work though. The office isn't anything to brag about, just a couple of rooms filled with rolls of lining material and some old wooden desks. We share the floor with a few other things, so there’s always people coming and going in the hallway. Being in Secretariat Colony means things are usually a bit more settled than in the busier parts of Chennai. We don’t do any flashy marketing or anything like that. People who need interlinings usually just find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been buying from us forever. The 1st floor keeps us away from the street dust, which is good for the stock we keep. We usually have the fans going full blast because the rooms can get a bit stuffy with all the fabric rolls around. Our team is small, just a few of us handling the orders and the shipping. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the local news or what's happening in Kilpauk lately. It’s a quiet, steady kind of business and we like it that way. We just keep doing what we've always done.
