Zeeshan Leathers

We have been at No. 9 Rama Pillai Street in Periamet for quite a while now. Most people around here know us for the leather work we do at Zeeshan Leathers. It is a busy area and the shop is usually full of scraps and the smell of raw material. We do not have a big fancy office or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. Some days it is quiet, but usually, we are cutting and sorting through different pieces to see what can be used for the next job. My father used to say that leather tells you what it wants to be, so we try to pay attention to the grain and the thickness. If you walk down the street, you will probably see our sign hanging out front. We spend most of our time at the workbenches. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It is not a perfect setup, but it works for us. We handle a lot of different orders, some big and some small. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the tools. The neighborhood is full of trade shops like ours, so there is always noise and movement outside the door. We have stayed in this same spot because it is where we feel at home. It is just us doing what we know how to do day after day.
