We are located at 19 Kumarappa Chetty Street in the Periamet neighborhood. If you know anything about Chennai, you know Periamet is where the leather happens. We’ve been at this address for quite a long time, and the street is always full of activity related to the trade. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a solid place where we can do our work. Inside, it smells strongly of leather, which is something we’ve all grown used to over the years. We handle the industrial side of things, so it’s more about the raw materials and the processing than finished fashion goods. There is usually the sound of machinery or heavy tools in the background. It’s a bit of a gritty job, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. The street outside is narrow, and sometimes it’s hard for the transport vans to get in and out. We spend a lot of our time checking the quality of the hides and making sure the orders are moving along. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the details. We don't have a fancy showroom or a website that looks like a magazine. We are just a local industry doing what we've always done. It’s honest work, and we stay busy from morning until evening. We just focus on the leather and getting the processing done right.
