Velan Leathers

Our place is at No. 5 M. V. B Street in Periamet. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s the heart of the leather trade. We’ve got stacks of skins and finished goods all over the place. The smell of tanned leather is something you just get used to after the first few days. It's a narrow street, so getting large deliveries can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We mostly just keep our heads down and work through the orders as they come in. There’s no big sign or anything flashy outside. Just a regular door on M. V. B Street. Inside, it’s mostly just us and the tools of the trade. We spend a lot of time sorting through pieces to find the right grain and thickness. It’s manual work, and our hands usually show it by the end of the week. Periamet is a crowded area, so there’s always noise from the street coming through the windows. We share the building with a few other small businesses. Everyone just does their own thing. We have been at this location for some time now. It’s not a large operation, but we have enough space to handle what comes our way. Sometimes the rain makes the street muddy, which makes loading harder. We just deal with it. It’s a plain, honest workspace for leather work.
