Pioneer Leather Craft

Pioneer Leather Craft is located at 17/9 Kattur Sadaiyappan Street. We are right in the Periamet area, which has a long history with the leather trade. Our shop isn't big, but it’s where all the work happens. The street is usually full of activity, with people moving goods and bikes parked everywhere. Inside our place, it smells like leather and work. We don't have a fancy storefront or any bright lights. It’s just a practical space with workbenches and tools. We’ve been around here for quite some time, and we know many of the other craftsmen in the neighborhood. Most of our days are spent cutting, stitching, or checking the quality of the materials we use. It’s noisy and messy sometimes, but that’s just how the work goes. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just people who know how to work with leather and have been doing it for years. The building is a bit old, and the stairs are narrow, but it has a lot of character. We like being in Periamet because it’s the heart of the industry. You won't find any glossy brochures here. If you come by, you’ll likely see us busy with an order. We take the work as it comes and try to do a solid job every time. It’s a simple life, and we are happy to be part of this community. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but we don't mind much. It’s just part of the daily grind.
