Marupudi Exports

Our place is at New No. 4 Lala Kutty Street in the Periamet area. If you know Periamet, you know it’s the place for leather and exporting. We’ve been operating from this building for a long time now. It’s an old neighborhood with a lot of history in the trade. Marupudi Exports is where we handle the final checks and the shipping for our goods. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around. The street is pretty narrow, so when the trucks come, everyone has to move their bikes. It’s a bit of a headache but we are used to it. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, you’ll just find me or one of the boys at the back checking the inventory. We try to be careful with the quality because once it goes on the ship, you can’t exactly get it back easily. We have some loyal customers who have been buying from us for decades. They know we don’t talk big, we just do what we say. The office is small and usually smells like leather and old paper. It’s not the most modern setup, but it works for what we do. We spend our days making sure the counts are right and the packing is solid. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. Periamet is a busy place, and we are just one part of it. We see the same faces every day. We aren't corporate people. We are just traders and packers.
