C. S Leathers

You can find us over at No. 17/ B Lala Kutty Street. Perimamet is a busy area for leather and we fit right in with the rest of the shops. C. S Leathers has been here in this building for some time. It’s a bit of an old structure, so it stays relatively cool even when it’s hot outside. We have a lot of regular customers who just drop by to see what we have in stock. The work is steady. We spend a lot of time checking the grains and making sure everything is up to the mark before it goes out the door. It's dusty work, and our hands are usually stained by the end of the day. There’s a small tea shop just around the corner where we usually take our breaks. The street can get pretty noisy with all the loading and unloading going on, but that’s just life in this part of town. We don’t have a big fancy sign or anything, just the address and our name. Inside, it’s mostly just stacks of leather and the tools we use every day. We don’t really do much advertising, word of mouth seems to work fine for us. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the window to use the natural light. It’s a simple way of living and working. We just focus on the leather and getting things ready on time. There's always plenty to do and the days are long but we don't mind much.
