Ameena International

Ameena International has been over here at No. 1 Muthu Street for quite a bit of time. Periamet is a busy area for this kind of work, so it makes sense for us to be right in the middle of it. We aren't a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s mostly just a few of us handling the paperwork and making sure the boxes get where they need to go. Muthu Street can be a bit of a nightmare for parking, but we manage. Most days, you’ll find us sitting around the main desk dealing with phone calls or checking on the latest arrivals. We do a lot of things that involve shipping and tracking, which keeps us pretty busy during the week. Sometimes it feels like we are just moving piles of paper from one side of the room to the other, but it all has to get done. The building itself is old, but it has character. We like being close to the other shops because you can always pop out and get a quick snack or talk to someone you know from the trade. It’s a lot of routine work, really. Checking invoices, talking to the loaders, and making sure nothing gets lost. It isn't always exciting, but it's what we know. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. It's just home for the business now. We'll be here tomorrow doing the same thing.
