Aiyub Class Leather Exports

Our place is at No. 1/- A Lalakutty Street, right in the heart of Periamet. If you know this part of Chennai, you know it smells like leather and hard work. We have been operating Aiyub Class Leather Exports from this small building for quite some time. It is a busy spot. We handle a lot of hides and finished leather pieces that come through here. The floors are a bit worn down from dragging heavy crates around every day. We don't have fancy furniture or a cooling system that works perfectly. Usually, we just keep the doors open to let the air move. It is a lot of manual labor, checking the quality of each piece by hand and eye. We have stacks of paperwork on the old wooden desk because the computer is sometimes slow or the internet drops out. My father taught me the trade, and now I’m the one here every morning at eight. We deal with people from all over, but we are just a small local operation at the end of the day. The tea shop on the corner is where we spend our breaks. There’s a lot of shouting on the street between the loaders and the drivers. It’s a loud, messy, but good life. We just focus on getting the leather out the door on time. We don't need things to be polished to get the work done right.
