You can find us at No. 1 Karpura Street on the first floor. We are right in the heart of Periamaet, which is where all the leather action is. Abco Leathers Pvt. Ltd. has been around for quite a while now. Being on the first floor means we have to carry everything up the stairs by hand, which is a lot of work but it's okay. The building is older, but it works for what we need. We deal in all sorts of leather goods and materials. It’s a family business at heart, even if we use the official company name for our invoices. My uncle started this place and we’ve just kept it going the best we can. The air in Periamet always has that specific scent of leather, and our shop is no different. We spend our time checking the quality of the hides and making sure the finished products are okay. We aren't interested in being a huge brand name. We just want to provide good material to the people who need it. Sometimes the workshop gets a bit chaotic with scraps on the floor and tools laying around, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical way of working. We don't have a fancy showroom for people to walk through. If you come by, you’ll just see us at our desks or working with the stock.
