B. V. Leathers

Down here at 147 Vepery High Road in Periamet, things are usually pretty busy. If you know this part of town, you know it smells like leather and there's always someone moving boxes around. Our shop is right in the middle of all that action. We spend most of our time dealing with different leather goods, mostly just checking the quality and making sure everything is packed right. It’s not a quiet office. You’ll hear people talking and the sounds of the street coming through the door all day. The Periamet area has a lot of history with this kind of work, and we’re just another part of that. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone writing fancy speeches for us. It’s just us handling the day-to-day stuff. Sometimes the stock piles up and the place looks a bit messy, but we know where everything is. If someone comes in looking for something, we usually find it after a bit of looking around. It’s a practical kind of business. We don't try to pretend to be something we aren't. We just work with leather and stay on Vepery High Road because that’s where the trade is. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast while we check the ledger and talk to the regulars who stop by for a chat. There is always something to do, and we just keep at it until it's time to close.
